Thandi's story is incredible. She was born and raised on the continent of Africa, living with her parents and her 7 brothers and sisters. As a child, she journeyed to grade school on the plains of African, where she would regularly spot lions, tigers and numerous other wild animals, within eyesight...while she walked to school.. Later As Thandi's life evolved, she had heard bits and pieces about the American dream of getting rich and how opportunity was everywhere in the USA. So, one day, as an adult at age 32, Thandi decided that she wanted to realize the American Dream....so she bought a one way plane ticket, said goodbye to her family members, and with $100 and mild command of the English language.....she came to America, arriving in New York City. It took several years of working odd jobs, losing jobs, sleeping in the park, going hungry, and struggling, but eventually, Thandi found herself being attracted to an Ameriplan advertisement she saw in the newspaper. So, she called for some information, went to a meeting, and the rest is history. She knew right away that the system was so simple, the service was something everybody needed, and she found herself saying "I can do this".
